Winds

The projects focused on exploring how strong winds moved freely across open lands and terraces but softened within tree-covered areas and settlements. They observe how the wind deformed objects on site and moved through varying degrees of porosity created by the built forms. The different terrace levels further shaped how the space was experienced — shifting from open, windy areas to calm, protected zones. These observations helped  understand the interaction between wind, terrain, and built form. The projects then transformed these sensory experiences into spatial ideas, exploring how design can collect, guide, intensify or soften the movement of wind.
