Assemblages

We experience our surroundings not as a series of separate objects, but as a dynamic network of forces - what we call an assemblage. This reveals how every architectural gesture, material, and environmental factor are continuously connected, influencing one another. We looked at it as a temporary configuration where elements like tidal flow, light, soil salinity, human bodies, and building materials co-function. The boundary between the structure and the site is blurred, making the structure a live interface that registers the environment. We will be discussing how our designs intentionally create these assemblages, allowing water to flow freely through the space, accessibility to shift with the seasons, and form to express geological rhythm.
