Thresholds

Blurring the boundaries between built form and the unbuilt , the design becomes and inhabits the thresholds of experience that the environment generates. It becomes an intermediary to inhabit these stark sensoriums. The natural forms on the sites of Uttan not only shape circulation and enclosure but also absorb the architecture with a sense of dignity and purpose, grounding it within its ecological context. The trees offer canopy and rhythm, mangroves guide movement and frame views, while bunds sculpt the terrain into inhabitable experiences. Together, they define zones of transition, pause, and interaction, allowing the program to evolve organically from the landscape rather than being placed upon it. Just like this the designs dwell in an architecture that listens to its environment, an architecture that is grown, layered with textures, and builds relationships that reflect the spirit of nature.
